Hey,

I'm looking for a manga where the main couple get together relatively easily but there's something that gets in between them, and by that I mean situations not other love interests. Kinda like basara (which is a highly recommended manga if you haven't read it already!!).

7 Seeds does have a couple that fits what you're looking for, but so far, I have yet to see a proper reunion between them (and it is the LONGEST separation I have ever witnessed between anyone in a manga from even the time I began reading it, which is still relatively new considering it was within the past year). It's also by the same author as Basara as well.

Ok, I thought up some more in case you were looking for a shorter, simpler story (at least comapared to the 150+ chapters of 7 Seeds).

Takkoku!!! This is a real easy going, simple, and part goofy story (it's also complete and rather short)
Toumei Ningen no Koi The third story and fifth story
Mars This is a complicated read, and you might find one specific nuisance you didn't ask for (the love rival component), but it doesn't last too long and it does not appear for the first few volumes (complete)
Dokuhime This is a VERY dark series (complete)
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (complete)
17 (SAKURAI Machiko) Although the fate of this manga is left unknown, 4 of the 5 volumes have been scanlated enough to get some sort of a happier picture (hopefully of the ending, although I don't know myself)
Haru no Noroi This might not even fit what you're looking for, but it's kind of hard to describe it without giving it away

Thank you!!! You're awesome It's not that I don't hate the love rivals, it's just that when they're dragged on for far too long like in . I've read some but I was wondering about 7 seeds but I think I'll give it a try now!
