Quote from qazmlpok

"World Travel" and "Travelling Between Worlds" appear to be duplicates. "World travel" has more uses but if they are the same, I feel like "Travelling Between Worlds" is a better name.

Doesn't appear like they're exactly the same. It's more likely that people are misusing World Travel

Quote from qazmlpok

Is there a dictionary of what the intended meanings of the tags is? I've never been able to find one.

There isn't one

Can we make one? At least for the more common tags and where people justify a new tag? I would be willing to add descriptions if there was somewhere to put it.

wtf :/ why was the oneshot tag replaced with "short chapter/s"?
oneshot =/= short, this makes no sense
some oneshots have like 70 pages if not more, like

this is like if you tagged every series thats not a oneshot as "Several Volumes"

transmigration and transportation are not the same thing

Being Transmigrated into a book means you take over the body of a person who already exists in the book. (example Lout of Count's Family)

If you are "Transported" into a book then you will retain your original body (example Kuro Ouji to Ijirare Hime) OR a new body of some sort is constructed for you (example Souzai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokouki)

Why merge inhuman with non-human?

inhuman definition -> Lacking kindness, pity, or compassion; cruel or indifferent.

(wikipedia)
Non-human (also spelled nonhuman) is any entity displaying some, but not enough, human characteristics to be considered a human. The term has been used in a variety of contexts and may refer to objects that have been developed with human intelligence, such as robots or vehicles.

Use a different word than inhuman. It's too easy to misuse it.

I have never felt the need to use a tag with 'inhuman' in it so I won't miss it. I just didn't understand why non-human and inhuman were merged since they are not synonyms.

edit: I do agree that a different word should be used instead of inhuman to avoid any misunderstanding. Inhuman is often overused in polarizing topics to the point that it has started to lose the original meaning
