Category search only returns categories with the query at the beginning of the category name, it does not return all categories containing the query. Is that intended?

It was intended. I could probably modify it to allow searching the beginning of all distinct words in the category name, but I won't be able to enable middle of word wildcard searches.

The following two categories are duplicates; I think the first one is far better:

Person in a Strange World
Person in Strange World

Thank you! I hope that there is a tool that will let you fix these problems and that you don't have to go around fixing each instance one by one. That would be so annoying!

Found some duplicated categories on the Categories List Page. By duplicated, I mean that the exact same data (tag name, number of agreed, disagreed, and usage) appears on different pages of the Categories List. However, it looks like the duplications disappeared when I checked it just now. (A system error? Update of the database?)

The duplicates I found on July 27, 2022 were the following:

Goblin/s (On page 19 and 20)
Hacker/s (on page 20 and 21)
Incest-Like Relationship (20 and 21)
Poor Male Lead (8 and 9)
Selfcest (23 and 24)
Time Paradox (22 and 23)
Wander/Traveler (24 and 25)

I'm not quite sure on the exact page numbers because I lost track of which pages they were on .... (not as helpful compared to actually knowing the pages - I'm sorry).

Also, there seems to be an error in the database that prevents the loading of Categories pages 26 - 58 ([url]https://www.mangaupdates.com/categories.html?page=26&[/url] ).

Is this intentional or just a database error?

Would it be possible to add a tag for "revenge" it would include only ones where the MC is taking revenge.

There's already a category for revenge.

As for the duplicates, this has to do with the way our elasticsearch query is working. I've identified the cause, but am not sure of an easy way to fix it at this time. I'll keep a note in the log though in case I can think of something at a future time.

That is strange that you don’t see this error. It appears on my iPhone and Mac. It appears on Safari and Chrome browsers when I use my computer, too.

I am sorry that this bug is not easily resolved.

Ok. You must have per page set to 100 on your settings.

The search engine is hard coded to only return the first 2500 results for performance reasons. I have no plans (or really, any way) to change that at this time.

Yes, I did have that setting. And I am glad that it was a display error and not a database error.

And I understand your decision on not changing the display to more than 2500 results.

There seems to be a bug regarding the Agree/Disagree count for the category:
Indecisive Protagonist (+-1, -1)

The Agree count is at +-1

Attempting to give it an Agree changes the value to 0, so I suppose the Agree count somehow has a negative value on it.
