Is anyone else completely weirded out by HxH lately?
It has just deviated so much from the original plot. I hate this Chimera Ants arc so much.
I used to hope all the time that it would just end, but I've given up hope... after the countless hiatuses and continuations of this retarded arc... It just changed everything, both power level wise and in weirdness. I just can't help wondering what the hell is the mangaka thinking and where this is going.

Does anyone even care about HxH at this point?

Well, this chapter wasn't only weird, it was really weird! I guess it should had ended right after the Greed Island arc.

I don't see why there's so much hate for this arc. I mean I preferred the earlier ones but I always like the earlier arcs. This arc just happens to be when the author went into Hiatus all the time.

This chapter is admittedly strange as hell, but I can only assume it's setting up the King going crazy and trying to eat all the other ants.

The way i see it , the author is more mature now like Oda for one piece

Yeah, thats pretty much what I think. Still this arc has taken the series downhill IMO. Il keep on reading for a while, but if the next arc is as ridiculous il prob stop.

This arc is crazy weird, and it just keeps getting stranger. Frankly, #299 creeped me out pretty badly. What's with the mother-issues, ants-can-love, self-sacrifice tears fest? I'm super confused.

And man, it just goes on and on.

EDIT: Also, does anyone else find the ant-king's bulging quadriceps and giant man-package just a little bit too emphasized in most of the panels? First of all, ants don't even have winkies, and that's not even remotely the worst thing about it....
