to get in the "new world", to be pirate king! There's only two ways to go to half of the grandline. Passing Marineford or go down to Fishman Island.

After a year in a half, the Straw Hats finally arrive to Fishmen Island, and extensively, completed the first half of the Grand Line.

Interesting to find that the island looks fine, despite Whitebeard's death (then again, a certain fishman is probably the main reason coughJinbeicough).

Looking forward to see what happens next week. 😀

Interesting. Some of the remaining WB pirates may have taken refuge there, though Jinbei protecting it makes sense. The only problem with the Jimbei idea is that he'd only be able to protect Fishman Island with his own crew, the Fishman Pirates. And Hammond is a member of the "New" Fishman Pirates, even having a different Sun Tattoo. He doesn't even acknowledge Jimbei and his relationship with Luffy. There could be a power struggle between the Fishman Pirates and these New Fishman Pirates. It'd be cool if Luffy took over WB's role and "claimed" Fishman Island as being under his protection now, maybe even taming those sea monsters to and having them look after Fishman Island when he's not there, which is presumably a long time from now.

i agree it would be cool for luffy to do that but idk i hes smart enough or even thinking that far ahead to do something like that..he just wants to go on an adenture otherwise he would've made alabasta and maybe waters 7 under his protection

If you look at his tattoos, the new fishman pirate tat looks a lot like a combo of a) Sunny pirates, b) Roshio's pirates, and c) Doflamingo's pirates. I say that he probs works for Doflamingo

well, he can control all those sea--things, so we can assume that he is pretty strong, plus he scared the kraken (I don't think it was the army of see-things)

Alright, now they're near Fishman Island! Looks like One Piece will get exciting again real soon...
