Insane, is it just me or is it STILL getting better? and not in the same way as DBZ 'omg over 9000?!?!?! .... again?' but in a more developed way that just makes you go "... OH SNAP!" ?
And here i am thinking Second and Third gear was crazy as it is.....

Chapter 500 blew me away. I mean, a crew member of Roger is alive?! His first-mate too! I'm loving this arc so far. I can't wait to see the other captains fighting. IIRC there wasn't any mention of them being fruit ability users so they must be freaking strong to be have bounties that high.

im actually hoping they get another comrade on this arc too...
though my fav arc so far has to be the thriller park, cause that defined
a big setting.....

agreed, actually, im hoping that the Bonney pirates captain will end up joining somehow, now wouldn't that just be amazing? Balance out the Male/Female ratio while still keeping the "Strawhat members are badass" feel. Also that would be one unique attitude that would go great with Luffy and Zoro 😀 .

You are wrong about that.
Shanks and Baggy were members of Roger. And they are still alive.
I personally think that those other 9 guys are not that strong. I mean, Luffy beat Moria (former bounty 320 million) but it was covered up. Honestly, what do you think his bounty will be if the incident on Thriller Bark is not covered? 😕
(My guess is 370 million) 😀

yea, but its not so much that it was one of Roger's crew members imo, but the first mate nonetheless!
After a while when you hear "he's a 100 times stronger then you" from certain characters in One Piece. you know you won't be disappointed when you meet him, but really, i never expected the first mate, the one RIGHT below the captain.

If Shanks can make it to the rank of emperor, how strong do you think the first mate would be? 😛
This series is really quite awesome, I'm looking forward to Luffy making a mess of this place along with the snobs. 😀

quick question trace and luffy are brothers, probably with different mothers but the grand father doesn't care that trace is gonna die or did i take that the wrong way. also if they weren't going to take on the old man why is the place cirlced by marines. this is getting better as it goes on actually not getting boring and the same old thing. probably because they just don't come up with new moves all the time.

Ok, Ace and Luffy have the same mother but different fathers, get the reference from when Luffy and his grandfather was talking about his Dad. Of course Grap doesn't care, he might have taken care of both Ace and Luffy but they a pirates and Garp would do the samething to Luffy. Marines were already in the vicinaty before the craziness happen, Grap just doesn't want to use alot of them or bring the Admarials into this because of Ace. I just waiting for Whitebeard to do something because if he does come to save Ace instead of Luffy doing it, its not going to be nice.
