I'm starting to scanlate this series but I'm really hoping to get some help for some phrases in Japanese that I just can't translate right...or just any help in general...

oh, you're scanslating Gedoh? That's great! I really love it. I read Gedoh in my native language though (Malay Language). They are serializing it in a local magazine. I really don't know if I could help, but i'd really like to. I don't know Japanese, but if you don't mind, i'll share with you whatever I read in the local magazine.
