I got the first volume of Suisei no Gargantia (the manga to the still ongoing anime).
So I am looking for people willing to help scanlate it. I can do the editing, so what is most needed are (a) translator and proofreader (ofc additional editor are welcome as well).
If a group is interested in doing it, I wouldnt mind giving the raws either (as long as I can do/help with the editing).

Even though my group is a shoujo-only group, I love this anime and would love to scanlate this manga.
But I don't have an extra translator for the series even though I would love to do it. I'm gonna look for translators pronto.

Just saw this topic.
My group has already picked it up.
We've already got a full team and the first chapter should be up within the week.

hm... is that so, well, Its no problem if 2 groups do one manga, right? Though its unneccassary, I'd still like to do it. Of course I am not trying to steal your project or anything (so no offense), its just that I already bought the volume and Id like to work on it myself. But before that I'll contact the groups, which contacted me, and tell them about you guys doing it and see.

yeah one of the downfalls of picking up a project that has the potential of being popular is other groups being interested in it. Joints are always fun though!

I don't mind competing with another team. I do well understand the pain of buying the raws just to be surprised by another team starting the same project before you release.
Unfortunately, my translator doesn't want to compete with anyone, so we're out. Good luck to you, though!
