I just finished skimming through it, but I had some difficulties understanding what happened at the end of the story despite re-reading it a few times afterwards.

Would anyone mind explaining the ending please?

Honestly, I have no clue what happened either. I always kind of wondered. Then again, i don't have the manga files anymore anyway, or I'd reread it for you... sorry. o_o
