Just by looking at it, the manga seems to be straight from One piece. Especially the art, the characters, and their clothes.

Is it just me? 😕

should explain the similarities

Why? -.-
The mangaka doesn't seem to be related to Eiichiro...

I agree that the style seems straight out of a one piece chapter. Maybe they went to the same art school? ^^

it's closer to rave master than one piece...heck, it's a magic version of rave master really...

the similarities to one piece is superficial...most of the common traits can be found everywhere.

well he did create Rave so its impossible for them not to be similar >< however the artwork seems more developed now...if you compare the first chapters of Rave to the last chapters of Rave/Fairy Tail they look pretty different

he worked WITH eichiro Oda as an assistant to Nobuhiro Watsuki.

look at the bottom of the page. i guess its safe to say those 2 worked closely. unfortunately, i still think FT is a wannabe of OP.

Mashima never worked as an assistant to anyone. If you read volume 5 of Rave Master, it states clearly that he didn't have the patience to be an assistant and dove straight into being a manga artist. Unless Mashima's lying, the manga was translated wrong, or something like that, Mashima's art style just looks similar to Oda's. Fairy Tail does look like One Piece, but I think One Piece has simplier art.

i though it was the same guy who created one piece and fairy tail.. you can't say that one piece copied fairy tail cause i think it came out first... it wasn't the same mangaka?? ... that degrades the manga cause it seeems like it's copying op... don't like that

It's not the same mangaka, at all. One Piece was made by Eiichiro Oda, while Fairy Tail was made by Hiro Mashima. Personally, I like both and they definitely don't have the same style.
