This week's poll was suggested by vivant. How many weekly series do you regularly read? We'll define "regularly" as a series that you will new chapters before the next chapter comes out. So you're not binge reading, but you're reading them as they come out.

You can submit poll ideas here
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Do you archive scanlations?
Choices:
I don't read scanlations - votes: 101 (2.2%)
I only read online - votes: 2449 (54.3%)
I read and delete - votes: 255 (5.7%)
Only a few - votes: 1149 (25.5%)
Yes, everything - votes: 556 (12.3%)
There were 4510 total votes.
The poll ended: December 12th 2020

I accidentally forgot to do a new poll last week... Compared to 2014, people who only use online readers has gone up by 20 percentage points

I have no idea.
I don't know if they're weekly or whatever.

I read a lot of old manga.
So, if the scanlations are coming out weekly, does that count?
What if they just come out infrequently?

Or, do they not count, and we're just talking about currently running weekly series in Japan?
In that case, it's easy, I don't read any of those. 🤣

Manga scanlations usually has irregular schedules. There is one that I know, like Tsumasakidachi no Alice that already ended in Japan, but the scanlations hasn't completed yet. The only scanlation I follow that have regular schedule every week is Solo Leveling. So, if I follow only the scanlations I'm not sure I can trace it weekly.

But, since recently I follow some manga/manhwa on app, I can trace how much I read every week regularly, at least only the manhwa-webtoon series. Currently there are a total of 18 series I follow. It used to be around 30+, but I have dropped a lot.

I used to read a lot more, but by now I maybe read a chapter or two a day, sometimes not, really depends on scanlator posting schedule. And that's mostly fast webcomics xD
So on average I definitely follow less than 10 weekly series.

I'm not sure if this site can help us to track release schedule? I'm not a scanlator too, so I don't really understand their work pace. But I usually use this site to check if there's already a release to the manga I read. I'm not sure if there's any manga database site as good as this one.

I use Line Webtoon and Kakaopage application, and these apps has a routine schedule, so I can keep track how many series I read every week.

50+.

I never skip a single chapter from my reading list.

I have 139 series on my reading list [not counting completed series, one of which just ended today].

Of those, there are probably around 110 [estimate] that are considered weekly, exactly 2 that are single-page daily-ish web manga, and I guess around 27 [estimate] that are biweekly or monthly.

I think fewer than 60 of my weekly series are on hiatus or have had scanlations dropped. Which would put me at 50+.

If the poll had an "I have no idea" option, I bet that would win by a land-slide.

About 200 on my currently reading/followed and single digit weekly ones...
If you're not reading much shounen that seems to be quite normal though.
