He should be from another world who came to our world. Can be an alien. But he should be super curious about this world's objects and works, sorta naive and badass, maybe. He can have a couple of friends from this world..who may or may not know of his being from another time or dimension or....world.
Romance is ok. Comedy and action is necessary. And bonds too.

EDIT : I had watched an anime where the girl was the demon king's daughter and she acted like a total kid or maybe an alien...it was amazing even though it was ecchi or harem ....it was sorta cute and I really enjoyed the girl's antics etc and the hero trying to get her 2 act normally
