I'm really curious if the author of this series, Inui Takemaru, is male or female! I guess it's bothering cause I can normally tell with manga but on this one I can't!

Well the name is male, or at the very least I think it is.

If you can usually tell (how, the art, the story?) why can't you in this case? His name is masculine. He does shounen and seinen ecchi manga, and although some women do also, most all are male.
There's absolutely nothing to indicate that the author might be a woman.

You can, usually. Not by the art, but sometimes by the story. Inuyasha is clearly written by a girl, though it's a shounen. Death Note wouldn't be written by a girl. Though there is very little difference, you can tell.

Shounen is just a label attached to it. Even if it's directed at boys Inuyasha has a very girly feel to it and many girls like it too. Death Note is on other hand very boyish. It's not little differences it's huge differences.
The manga in question is very boyish and there's not much doubt which gender the author is. Or at least, not enough to start wondering about it. If it was a woman there still would be anything to indicate that, or in that case there might be but now there isn't.
Besides I didn't question if you can tell it in the first place.

This person explains it perfectly. Not by the art but by the storyline and different moments. It's not an exact science or anything, just a feeling you can get. I know some shonen is written by women, yaoi by men, just like some hentai or seinin can be by women, despite how masculine it is.
Btw I don't know any Japanese, so even a masculine name is no different to me from a female's ( unless it's something obviously feminine like Hana or Sakura )

Well there do exist exception such as Fullmetal Alchemist, I was truly surprised as I heard that the author was a female since the art and the feel of the manga was really shounen-ish.
