I highly doubt this is true (Especially the whole "And it's free" part), but I just wanted to show y'all this.

So, there is apparently something going around about Amazon giving full refunds for already opened copies of ME3.
Can't confirm it, but that would be a pretty cool move of them. No question that they can afford to do it, anyway.
It is confirmed. Also BW is taking the critic under consideration and are discussing what to do about it. Dont think they will just patch it so free dlc? Any way to all of you keeping the pressure up, keep going.

The last ~30 minutes of the game was pure WTF. That was disappointing, given how awesome that the game and the last mission was in general and the buildup to those last minutes of the game/series.

Just wanted to share this here.
So apparently, Bioware recognizes the criticism as vocal and numerous enough to look for possible methods of fixing the ending, maybe.
What stands out for me though is that they really did plan on this ending deliberately.
I was kind of holding out hope that it was a sort of place holder because they ran out of time and would fix it with DLC. This just tells me that Bioware has lost its touch and isn't the quality studio that I once knew them as. Another notch on EA's 'destroyed studios' belt.
It really is a shame, since there are so few quality RPG studios left, all I have now are Bethesda and CD Projekt Red. And just forget about any sci-fi themed RPGs.

More like
Stage 1: Denial, maybe I did something wrong or this is the "bad" ending
Stage 2: Annoyance, this is not a game made with high replay value in mind, a ME2 save editor is a definite requirement and ME3 should have shipped with one.
Stage 3: F that, shutting down game PC and waiting for either a very BIG fix, or simply never playing it again (most likely).
One thing is for sure, I will not soon buy another game from Bioware/EA.
I'm not saying ME3 was an entire failure, but as with most manga: one rushed/axed ending can ruin volumes of goodness and build-up.

So it appears the mass outrage over the ending has had some results, sort of. clicky
Not sure how I am supposed to feel about it.
It seems to just be adding some cinematics and such from what the article stated
That doesn't really solve the giant problems the ending has, but I will withold judgement untill I get to see it.
'Till then, I will hold true to my previous statement; bioware is dead to me untill they can prove they are capable of producing quality games like they used to.

It seems like Bioware were rushed into release by EA, and didn't really have time to completely finish the indoctrination ending like they wanted. That's why there are so many hints there without any payoff or answers. Though I do think the anger over the ending is a little ridiculous. It could have been far worse. What they gave us under their apparent time constraints was, I thought, very thought provoking and satisfying thematically, if not narratively. [spoiler]What we should be discussing is the implications over the ending. The fate of the universe after the mass relays were destroyed, what became of the crew, what was really going on in Shepard's mind. The way the ending played out, with the little boy and such, didn't come out of thin air, it had been hinted at throughout the game. I think people need to stop getting so angry about what isn't there and instead try to understand and come to terms with what is. Actually discuss and try to understand what Bioware was getting at by the ending, rather than just brushing it off and getting angry about it.
