It's a very dramatic, touching and important manga that many people love (and has even won a Kodansha Manga award in 2007), and yet no new chapters have been released for TWO YEARS, and no English publisher has picked it up.

It is time to revive Aiesu!

I currently have I S Volumes 9, 10, and 11, and 13, and will be ordering 12, 14, 15, 16 soon. I'm scanning them and cleaning them up for distribution~

This is my first time scanlating, but I think it's going well. I'll buy, scan, and clean the pages, but I'm not sure about translating. I have 1 year of university Japanese, but it's really slow translating for me.

In short, I'm starting up a small scanlation group (basically just for Aiesu and a couple other shorts I own). And I really need a Japanese translator dedicated to translating Aiesu...!

I hope to do a chapter a week, starting mid-September at the latest (but first chapter coming in August! I'll translate that crappily myself). I'll also edit the text in, so no need for the translator to worry about that. I hope a chapter a week isn't too ambitious for little old me >__< But we have 8 books to catch up with the serialization...!

I'm thinking of posting RAWs before the finished scanlated pages, it depends.
