hmm...so is euthenasia a sin? since sometimes...the pain can be overwhelming >_>

would it be a sin to be relieved of that pain?

🤣 Aw, he said something pretty deep.

I wouldn't consider it a sin, but that's just my personal opinion.

It's a sin in many religions... but I think, though, if the patient asked for it, it can't be a sin, right? The doctor got permission (also from the patient's family too)

...Well 7 rather than 6 really.

Perhaps 19 meant that we were supposed to create our own top 6 sins, not necessarily just to take Dante's for our own list.

My top sins*:

  1. Stupidity
  2. Betrayal
  3. Arrogance
  4. Sexual Promiscuity
  5. Mistreatment of Others
  6. Hypocrisy

*I'm an Atheist, so I'm not going to say that someone's going to go to any kind of afterlife punishment or anything. Rather these are things that disgust me the most. If you want me to explain them further, I'd be happy to. However please realize that I'll be spitting out words of poison and will likely tear your religion apart in the process, so be forewarned kthx.

;_;, wow, does amaranthine really think of me as a shallowed headed fool?

hmm, but how different is that physical pain than, lets say, deep emotional pains inflicted by society's bias and oppression? when a person kills him/herself because of emotional problems and bullying by others, wouldn't the pain be just as deep as physical pain? then is that suicide a sin?

hmm, we should get someone who experienced this type of pain to share...^^ i have no frikin idea.

I thought suicide (because of society) is like giving up.... giving up is not a good reason to die, I think.

I thought euthanasia is only for doctors & patients 🤣 oops..

lol, well, it exists in a lot of places, especially in battlefields, when a soldier is wounded and in so much pain that they either kill themselves or ask a fellow soldier to do it

betrayel.
theft from the less fortunate
rape the virgins

killing is not a sin for me. to me, killing is a way to help the victims to escape the torture of the world. so less killing and more torture please

Aw, of course not 🙂

View on suicide is a cultural thing and it depends on one's religion too.

Personally, I don't think the people who commit suicide are cowards. I mean, just the thought of taking your own life is scary and those who did it prolly mustered up a lot of courage to perform the act. In case of those who had been bullied or whatnot, I think suicide based on something like that is insanely stupid, but I don't see it as a sin or cowardly. Okay, maybe a sin to their parents and those who love them.

I would have to say, one of the top sins in my book would be, intentionally trying to cause two people to fight. It seems like the lowest of the lows but I've seen it happen a lot. I can think of a couple occasions where I'm definitely guilty of this, but I didn't exactly think of it as being a sin at the time.

well i don't have a top six sin, rather my opinion is that
"greed" is a sin, it can cause great results that we have no idea what it might be, but we're all sinned anyway.
"killing, murdering" is another sin of cause.
"detesting others" in which i mean racism, sexism, hatred towards bi, tran, gay, lesbian etc. If there is this sort of hatred, judging others and stuff like that because you just think is not normal or what ever reason it is. It's a corrupting thing. It's wrong to judge. It causes emotional pains to others therefor I think it's a sin.
BUt in my opinion i think that sin is: cruelty, an act that causes harm, pain to others, physicaly and mentally.
But seriously we are all sinned in some way.

1.Having too many kids. (I'm all for the one kid plan. (That's still too much. Look at
freaking world population!!)) Agent Smith is right we are like viruses!)

  1. Picking on the weak. (Even though that's instinct.)

  2. Instigators (As Zubz313 says.)

  3. Thieves (Unless they are reallly really really poor.)

  4. Fake contribution collectors. ( I saw these two nuns buying birthstone earrings with
money from their little contribution basket.)

  5. Debit collectors who call the wrong house and insist it's the right one...daily.

Let me think:

  1. Usury is a big pet peeve of mine, but I suppose it falls under "greed" in general.
  2. Murder - note I don't think putting someone to death or killing is a sin. I think "murder" is a sin. Trust me there is a difference.
  3. Vanity - I hate bling. I hate 20in rims. I hate Hummer H2. I hate people who need to drive a huge SUV 2 blocks to work while emissions kill our planet and poor colored kids die in Africa because they can't afford medicine and food. If white babies where dieing I bet people and governments would do more about it.
  4. Apathy -this one ties on with number 3 for the same reason.
  5. Lying - this world would be a better place if people and government would start telling more of the truth and take responsibility.
  6. Modern Hip-hop - what the hell is this crap? I grew up with arrested development, black sheep, pharcyde, and the rest. What the hell is this hard beats catchy hooks crap that the new artists swear by? What happened to lyrics and a message? It makes me really sad. Really, really, really sad when I listen to the radio.
  1. Debit collectors who call the wrong house and insist it's the right one...daily.

That happens to me all the time. It's really annoying, but it's just something I put up with as a byproduct of my number 1 sin above.
