Well, I'm a muslim and polygamy is allowed in my country. So I don't mind at all reading harem. I even have two uncles that have two and three wives each. And there's a celebrity in my country who's famous for having four wives and he runs a show where he answers questions related to polygamy and gives advise to husbands and wives who practice polygamy. On the other hand, I avoid reverse harem like plague.

I don't hate'em, but I am burned out of them. I've read too many mangas where the ending are too vague about the remaining relationships.

So LUCKY!!!
As for harems, I don't think its fundamentaly wrong or anything having multiple wifes.. even tho I grew up on country with strong chistian background,
The poligamy never bothered me..
its the means to get there that do, so weak and cliched that simple makes me barf!
"ow noes he picked my pencil, he is so kind I love him"
"ow noes he told me, xxx-kun was going to run late I love him, even tho I think xxx-kun love me since forever"
make a god damn nice history I don't care who or how many you end up with!

Depends. If it's like Love Hina, then probably....an ecchi comedy manga is pretty ok. Mahou Sensei Negima! is most likely on the "no" side 'cause I felt the story just got dragged on and I didn't want to waste my time on something that isn't gonna give me the satisfaction at each chapter
Depending on the drama, I'll read it. I don't want to read a harem where ALL the girls are fighting grit for this one guy. I felt like it just destroy my enjoyment of reading and I just want one destinated couple. Probably something like Saiunkoku Monogatari. Not only the characters are lovable (even though they are all like bishounen, lol), their characterizations and storyplot draws the audience in. We know who is the couple and there's not over-dramatizing situations.

My beef with harem is the character type needed for the cliche harem. Generally for a harem to develop you need either a wishy-washy lead who has no qualification for ANYONE to like him/her (I am tired of reverse harem too) yet the "group" repeatedly gets their feelings hurt/jealous over this human shaped piece of crap, or you have the completely horrible playboy/slut who purposely plays with the "groups" feelings. I don't appreciate either scenarios, but if i start reading something, it is my pride that I WILL finish it. I have one stain on my record and it haunts me to this day.
I like drama, but too much is too much, and most harem works have way too much. It's on the level of muchness.

Hi...
I just get that feeling of fake reliability, how can a girl think that a boy is reliable, trustful and truthful, when he start loving a girl with all is migth and then another one appear, and another and another and e start "loving" them all and no longer can give is heart to a single girl, but the girls don't care and think that its really ok if he loves them all 😕 wtf... we are talking about teenage girls right, not in a million years this would happen...
At a time I had 4 girls in love with me, yes i'm not joking and i'm telling the truth, but I only want one and don't cared about the feeling's of the other three, i'm not telling that I despise their feelings or don't get a bit sad when I remembered their were suffering because of me, but I don't for a second think that I should love them all and don't pick the one that I love, and my feelings for the girl that I liked never got vague or mixed, you love or you don't love, period...
I'm currently reading Good Ending, and despite the main male character be a little weak, he knows what girl he really love, and the girls are truthful to their feelings, well sometimes he can be a little slow on the uptakes 🙂 ... but at least he "love" one girl at time... and yes, sexual scars can be that hard to close...
So, I'm just a little tired of them all, but when its a clearly a romantic comedy, I can accept the concept but don't really like it...
