This week's poll was suggested by Viki.kdrama. I feel like most people would rather redo than end their lives (especially if you're allowed to remember lottery numbers of profitable stocks)

You can submit poll ideas here: https://www.mangaupdates.com/topic/kilkdnn/site-manga-poll-suggestions

Previous Poll Results:

Question: Have you visited Japan?

Choices:

  • I'm currently there - votes: 45 (1.8%)
  • Recently - votes: 230 (9.3%)
  • In the distant past - votes: 234 (9.4%)
  • Never, but I want to go! - votes: 1460 (58.8%)
  • Never, and I probably will never go - votes: 515 (20.7%)

There were 2484 total votes. The poll ended: November 15, 2025

Traveling is very expensive (from recent first hand experience)

Is it just a way to find out how many people here are suicidal?

both answers are boring. To fast-forward your life to the end? That's like start reading a book and skip to the last pages without reading the rest.

And restart with all the knowledge? boring as well. Where is the suspense testing something out and have nice failures or successes. I would prefer a clean start without knowledge.

What the hell kind of poll is this....

I don't want to do either but if I have to pick it's the one where I'm not suicidal

Hmmm... Maybe I should have gone with skip to retirement, but I wanted both the option to be shitty. Now reading the comments, it does sound suicidal :/

Sorry... My bad

Oh I see. Yeah that would've been better--I would've picked the same option because my life is fine and I'm all about maximizing my lifespan, but it would've been a far closer poll if the two options were

"Restart life with all knowledge of what will happen but no meaningful ability to change the outcome"

vs

"Skip to your retirement at age 70, being unable to experience any years until then"

There are definitely people with miserable enough lives/jobs that they would pick the latter, and you can still get 10-15 years of fun if you try to stay healthy. But I would rather just coast through the life I've had up to now.

11% of people picking the second option is concerning.

I would redo forever, nothing is worse than permanently losing the ability to think.
