How about including this? There seems to be a fair amount available on scanlations, and posted here even though they're not manga. It might help people when filtering as well.

It could be nice to see if its korean so you know to read from left to right(or you could tell by looking at the art)...but not under genre.

mmm... the genre function is starting to be used more as a tagging engine than a genre engine >_>

Yeah I don't really think that the manwha is a genre and it shouldn't be treated as one.
But I do agree with jonsi, it would help to know if the new thing you're reading is a manwha so you can start reading from left to right...
Everytime I start a new Manwha I found myself totally confused for the 10 first pages... and then I understand that I was reading the thing the wrong way lol...
So if it's possible I think that a hint in the description shouldn't be a bad idea.

Well. Yknow. Basically, this is a site for manga updates. Just because "manwha" sounds like "manga", doesnt make it manga, right? I mean, by that logic you'd have to include Comics from all over the world.

Perhaps an "origin" field is needed?

aye. we've always been a bit lax on that though and are more of an "asian" comics site.
each series uses the publishers section, and each publisher is categorized by country of origin. It would be possible to make a list of all, say, korean manwha based on this list, but it would require that each series have publisher information accurately set. I dunno how well this would work though as I'm not sure how complete that info is in the db.

now that i remember it, when i was reading unbalance it took me 2 volumes to realize why the hell it doesnt make sense.. than i realized it was left to right
you can always just make a small section check box of "manga, manwha, one-shot"?

Manhua....oh yeah.....now it makes sense.......man hua is the pronunciation of two Chinese characters which means comic.
漫画
漫畫
This is great.
Well.....the only Manhua i ever read is about 4 friends living in Canada. The descendant of Dragon in Canada or something.....I don't know where I put it......

画 is the simplified Chinese character of 畫. They both mean pictures.
Thank goodness for simplified Chinese eh?
