Traumatic experiences mean nothing to the type of people like me 😀 I forget those things quickly and my moods swing easily 😎

soooo what is the point of this poll? is there some kind of assumption that people who read yaoi come from messed up backgrounds because no normal, well-adjusted person would read yaoi under normal circumstances?

But, for the point of your research, I haven't gone through anything traumatic. I just suffer from depression on occasion. Oh and i chose "this poll is getting really weird". even if someone had killed or raped a person (hopefully nobody here has) would they really choose that in a poll?

Ditto. I mean... this is a bit offensive. Why do people need to embrace their "dark side" when reading some sort of literature or content?

well i dunno.. i just wanna kow since i myself had a quite traumatic background.. but that doesnt mean anything XD
an to many people read yaoi who dont have anything traumatic.. and its not counted as a cause

but its just that i started reading yaoi when i had my bad experience.. so im doing a social study to see if im weird.. but yeah XD you probably already know the answer rofl

as for my traumatic experiences

i was sexually abused and mentally
and stalked by some guys.. still am... and bullied really bad XD
i also lost my dearest friend back then..

yeah life sucks 😀

anyhow people themself choose to talk about it or not

i myself can laugh about it now.. even though it sounds more painfull then happy
but i cant talk about it to anyone i know
