Bah, Hitsugaya's Bankai is all show and no go. Sure, it looks pretty, but it pretty much got owned by Aizen's Shinkai. I'm pretty sure he's closer to the weak end of the Gotei 13 captains. He's gets a lot of screen time because it keeps the fan girls coming back. I still go for Ken-chan, his whole "I rely on my strength and my strength alone," policy is pretty hardcore. Even if he did have to drop it for a little bit in the Hueco Mundo arc.

No way! Hitsugaya is still young and he’s practically on the same level as the other captains. Yeah... his Bankai may not be as powerful as Aizen’s but who of the Gotei 13 is? (or should I say Gotei 10. Lol) Either way he is kick ass to watch in battle and his ice bankai is just freakin awesome! But Kenpachi is all brut no style. I’m not gonna lie though his is strong as heck but ya need more than strength to be the best captain. 😃

Some people are like slinkies, not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs. 🙂

I voted for Aizen.

I like characters like him that are insanely skilled/intelligent but very cold and calculating. The Soul Society arc was so awesome and the way it ended left me really impressed with it and Bleach overall as a show. Aizen was kinda the architect of all that ass kicking so I give him alot of credit.

If Aizen wasn't up there, I'd vote for Mayuri. To me he's like Aizen except he didn't turn on Soul Society. I loved how in the flashback arc there was a chapter where I can't believe I forgot his name... he's one of my favorites the guy with the beach hat was walking his vice-captain through a hidden prison and he was like, "Most of these guys are here only because they have potential to do bad, so we give them moderate freedom and don't restrict them to staying in their cell. However, there is one guy who's too dangerous to be kept with the other prisoners and he stays on 24/7 lockdown." Then the chapter ends on the next page and its just Mayuri sitting alone in a cell looking bad ass.

Urahara Kisuke would be the one you are referring to. And yes, he's one of my favs too, I do like Mayuri's calculating side but I just can't forgive him for "losing" to Ishida in the SS arc.

Ehhh...I wish Uruhara was listed here, he would definitely take the prize xD But it became a difficult battle between Hitsugaya and Gin, and Gin won. I don't know, he is just so...Evil?
