I as recommended by most I tried to read this manga but for some reason found its art unappealing and found as if it is over-crowded. So I was wondering if the Anime is any better? I know the plot and all is the same but I meant has anyone felt that watching the anime was better in some ways than reading the manga. ( I know it is a matter opinion but still wanted to ask. )

The anime to me was crap, because the fights didn't really appeal to me as in the manga. but you should try the anime I guess, as you said it's my opinion

My opinion doesn't matter because I am a Ten Ten fanboy.

That said, I enjoyed the anime, but the OVAs are better.

anime had its moments. takayanagi's eyes glow red was one of the highlights for me.

I became a fan of Ten Ten because of the anime, and i thought that it was pretty good. But you really can't get the whole feeling of the Ten Ten universe just through the anime. And i think the manga is awesome, the art is pretty good for me, and it offers you the full storyline, the way that the mangaka interprets it. Anime is great but is incomplete for me, and the manga is awesome and complete. Ten ten reminds me of other manga turned anime but weren't completed so that i had to read the manga, like Samurai X, Slam Dunk and Flame of Recca. You wouldn't appreciate those titles as much if you just watched the anime.

What he said. That's the main reason why I picked up the manga to begin with, as a continuation of the anime.

Still one of my top 3 manga and top 5 anime of all time, though.
