What does it actually mean to be pure of heart or have a pure soul?

In Star Fox Adventures, you're pure of heart if you pass all the Krazoa tests (observation, combat, fear, strength, knowledge, and whatever Scales applies under [your l33t gaming skills to defeat him]). In Scooby-Doo (the movie), man's best friend was the only pure soul. And for a lot of other things, you're pure until you kill somebody (suicide counts as killing somebody, you're killing yourself). So, what do you guys think?

Totally subjective.

For me it would probably be someone who could not possibly intentionally harm another person and has some kind of "innocence" to him. Like believing in fairy tales, believing in love. Someone who always tries to help others.

purity. someone who has seen no evil, hear no evil and did no evil. once you do, you're tainted. the only thing pure are the newly borns.

To be pure of heart would be to have intentions without malice.

I agree with most of the commenters here but a pure of heart isn't always naïve though. I disagree with otakuness because Goku is a perfect example of a pure heart. Even though he does fight and has seen many horrific-evil things, he never fights for evil intentions. His enemies have even tried to convert his heart into evil but his heart is just too pure, it's as pure as a newborn child.

A pure of heart also does not laugh at others for their looks or when someone is being mean to them, etc. A pure of heart never uses women for their bodies. For Example, lets say all you wanted was to touch a woman in a sexual way but you weren't touching her because of true love. You just wanted to use her so you could get off. So basically, pure of hearts never do evil, think of evil, etc.
