considering the last page...feel like she was butchered to death. Such a sad and weak way to die for the so-called leader. It would have been better if she lost on a 1-on-1 fight. I too wish that somehow she's still alive, but the chances are rather slim.

Lame way to die sigh... too bad she died like that. I didn't expected to see her die at least so soon...

My sentiments exactly.......
the part about #10 being a anti-warrior fighter was strange....

U had to be pretty hopeful to believe that she was gonna overthrow the organization. i along with alot of people thought that just maybe we might see something good, but for one of our beloved characters to just die in 2 chapters is just ridiculous. i love this series, but this is just the main thing that has been bothering me about the series lately, characters we love are being picked offf too easily. i mean was it too mush to ask for us to see that she got away but at the cost of loosing half her body not even claire can survive the kind of butchering miria recieved in the last couple pages

I always tought Miria was the kind of character made to die... She was too much of a perfect captain, so she would do something stupid at some point and get herself killed...
But it's still so sad... The fact that she died thinking she was seeing and old friend was too sad...
And hell what an ugly way to die... Was butchering her really necessary?

First Clare, now Miria? WTF. Yagi better come up with something more optimistic soon, or this story will turn from action series to slobbery who-dies-next series completely...
Damn. Miria was one of my favorite characters, alongside Galatea and Clare. And now all she gets for a death scene is some lame "outmatched by the haxx pulled straight out of the writer's ass, couldn't see through illusions, and butchered by the very people she tried to save"? Talk about unsatisfying.

We don't know if Clare is really dead yet lool. And my guess is she is not. I bet she will overtake the power of the sisters and come out safely and even stronger. I bet she is regenerating inside of that and adding their powers to her and fight Priscilla at full power.

Well, we don't know for sure whether Miria is dead, either, by that logic. If she somehow saw through illusion in the last moment, she could still escape (maybe losing her arm in process). But that's wishful thinking, of course. As for Clare, even if she overcomes the Destroyer, she won't really be Clare anymore. 🙁
My problem, now that I think about it, is that Miria was the only one of the good guys who had an idea what they all were doing. If she is gone, I am pretty sure they'll all fall apart. Just like that, Yagi has destroyed the pillar of the resistance movement that he has been building up since chapter 25 (the Slashers arc). What for? So he can mix up the fray again, have another time skip and 50+ more chapters? There are no replacements for Miria at the moment, unless Galatea takes up her arms again, or Dietrich somehow becomes the leader of much older warriors.
And Clare, I just don't know. Even if she overcomes the Destroyer, she will effectively become an Abyssal One, I don't know if she and everyone else would want to work together. And I sure as hell hope Yagi doesn't use Miria's death as an excuse to reintroduce Raki again.

You have a problem with Raki? I for one cant wait to see him and I miss not seeing him with Clare. However he too, like Clare will be not the same person Clare knew after the ORG is done playig with him.
I just felt sad after Mirias's death and cant think how they are going to oppose the ORG now. Maybe, if, Galatea, regained her eyesight? She will make a good leader and someone who knows almost as much as Miria.

Galatea taking Miria's place is probably the only thing that can reconcile me with Miria's death.
As for Raki, I just don't sympathize with him. But to be honest, my only problem with him is that he was a useless load for the most time he traveled with Clare. He has moved up my favorite roster considerably since then, but he is still nowhere near my favorites (Miria, Galatea, Dietrich, etc.), so I would hate if he took the spotlight immediately after one of them died.

I think exactly your favorite character (Galatea) now some kind of similar moves like number 10 now.
If you think back to "The Witch's Maw" chapters. She modified Duph consciousness. Sure that task is not so refined that we saw now but something like this one.

Galatea was number 3. I have to re-read the chapters you speak of, but didn't she simply redirect the flow of yoki he projected, so that his attacks always missed?
