Hi all,

From reading Angel Manual I've been reminded of a work I read a few years ago, which is either 1-2 volumes or a oneshot, and features a girl (middle school, I think) who is relied upon often by her classmates, as she's on the committee for the school festival and often stays late to do her work.

There is a magic mascot thing who becomes her friend, but he is actually a prince trapped in a spell (or a person somehow transformed into a little plushie-like thing). He helps her with her school assignments, and eventually fulfills the condition/time requirement and transforms back into human form on an evening.

Then there might have been something about him having to leave Earth but he'll be back every year at the same time...or he just stay on Earth. That's all I remember.

Thank you in advance for your help!

This kind of reminds me of Penguin Prince. But I read that a long time ago, so I'm not really sure if it fits. Okay, so I reread the manga, and there's nothing alike, other than the fact that the guy helps her. So, sorry.

Not at all - it was a refreshing re-read for me. The one I'm looking for is older than Penguin Prince, assuredly.
