After fruitlessly searching MU for a specific manga, I must resort to asking the everyman if they happen to know what I am searching for. (Viva specific genres searches by the way.)

A few months ago, I recall reading a seinen (atleast, I hope it was) about a guy who gets to test a super-powered suit by some chance or another (not any larger than himself, doesn't formally meet the people who made the suit,) the biggest detail about the suit is that the helmet is one used for motorcyclists (no, not the silly looking ones).

The clumsy would-be hero selfishly uses the suit's power to gets what he wants, which causes him to fight another suit user, who happens to be a famous idol (and more skilled with using the suit abilities, as it would be.)

Rather specific, I just can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

I think the title was something simpler, it was a far more recent manga as well. Thanks though, I'm going to check this one out...

No, its not Cannon God. Rather than mech, I would say the suit is more simple (as in it looks like its just leather clothing and a motorcycle helmet, all black of course.) It was rather dark in nature, the main protagonist (Or anti-hero, I'd think) exhibited psychological instability rather regularly.

I must have screwed my search parameters. I found it after combing through all manga by letters.
