So, I'm looking for a Environmentally themed Anime (preferably)/ manga. However, that's not all; I want it to have supernatural elements to it. Like spirits or demons or just plain ol' monsters. Or it could be something like Erin where it's not really supernatural; it's just in a different world with radically different peoples and animals then ours, but nothing that really qualifies as "magic" or "super".

Some examples; All the Miazaki movies, Erin, and a couple others I don't remember the names of.

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind - even if you've seen the anime, the manga is worth reading.

Silver Diamond maybe? 8) it has some shounen ai hints though.

Tsuki to Mizu no Yoru - It has some very light BL hints (barely noticeable) ; you didn't say 'no shounen-ai', so I went ahead and suggested it 'cause it fits your request in every way. It's a manga, though.

Mononoke Hime - Been a long time since I read / watched this, but I'm pretty certain it fits.

Mushishi and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind are really good too. Try both anime and manga - they're well worth the time 🙂

Dokebi Bride is great, but I doubt it'll ever be completed. Still, the 5 volumes that've been scanned are worth the read.

How could I have forgotten Suiiki and Majo?! Highway-STAR beat me to it, but I highly recommend both of them! Neither has an anime (sorry ^^) - but still, they are totally worth checking out!
