I love the revamped Whats New! section, would it be possible to add the
***Add to reading list Add to wish list Add to complete list ***
shortcuts to save some time adding potential new manga to our lists?

Also, I noticed a few people would like a way to filter the Whats New! pages genre-wise. And here I was thinking everyone loved Yaoi. T_T

Oh, also grammar critics might want an apostrophe in What's New! gets shot

You got guts. xD

I don't mind the genres that much, but the adding to lists could prove to be handy. ;D

Yeah everybody loves Yaoi...can't get enough of it... seriously we need a way to filter it...

And maybe you coul add something like "show random" or so, then you see a random mangas (not on any of your lists) sorted by genre or so. And yeah if I could sort it by genre generally....hmm when I think about it it would also be nice to see the status of scanlation there... I think the Whats New section has a lot of potential 😀

As a second thought, you could cut the descriptions short after a certain amount of words and add a read more... that links to the series page (or even leave them long/full if space isn't an issue). That way you could fit a couple more stats in like

**Status in Country of Origin: **2 Volumes (Ongoing)
and maybe the author/artist under the title

I feel really bad for asking after it's just been revamped, sorry! xD

Also wanted to say I really enjoy the new What's New! page. (though I do feel a little sad for the non-2008 series that will never see themselves on the front page of anywhere anymore) Besides it just being fun to look at the shiny new pictures, it's also nice that you can more visibly see which newly-added series are lacking information. I was just curious, would it be worthwhile to add the author of the work to the What's New! page along with genre/summary/pic?

Also, would it be too troublesome to allow users to individually set which sorting method (Date Added | Rating | Past 3 Months Activity) they want the page to open to by default? Don't wanna add lots of extra work, but if that could be done simply I would enjoy being able to see the newly-added series without that single troublesome extra click (haha). Or maybe just making Date Added the general default for the page, and letting users click to see most-rated or most-active new series, because to me Date Added seems like it makes the most sense as "What's New".

Deva's idea of a random-manga button to find new series could be fun (but there are a lot of series without much info, so that might be a little disappointing too)

These are good ideas. I cannot guarantee anything, however, as I have many other things on the table.

Thanks. I really need to get a feature request system up.. It's getting really difficult to sort through these requests.

Thank you for considering them, and thanks also for all the work you do on this site! I really love all the things I'm already able to do/learn/see at MU.
