When I was in school, it was so long ago that anime wasn't a thing yet. I didn't become an anime fan until about 9 years ago, as an adult. Ironically, I'm in an anime club now! There's one at the local library. All the members are young enough to be my - let's just say I'm an obachan. They have great programming and I help out now and then.
