This chapter was interesting. I know,it was predictable, but still it was quite good.
Hmm...So we are finally going to see the Zero Squad. I wonder if Isshin will show up? What fo you think happened in last page? Maybe some captain got angry and used bankai,or the arrival of someone(preferably Zero Squad)?

That was refreshing, since it went down so unceremoniously. No bullshit games of hidden tricks, just a good old oneshot and then the command to get on with the mop up.
Guess we'll soon see the hyped Zero Squad. Too bad that the story requires that Bach will stomp them too.
Here's hoping that smarts is right and the latest arrival to the scene would be our old Ulquiorra-stomping friend.

Do not like the one shot thing. The battle of Orichimaru vs 3rd Hokage or Akainu vs White Beard were done better. However, the art of this chapter is epic.

I though the same.
But I doubt it's the Zero squad that's appearing in the sky. Juha said to retreat and wait for them to appear, so he probably knew they wouldn't make their move immeadiately. (if you ask me, I found this Zero squad kinda lazy, always hiding, doing nothing... jk)
I believe it's Ichigo, hollowfied or not, with his bankai or whatever new Kubo gave him.
But I'm not giving a damn to him, I really want the set to come back to the Hueco Mundo. I wanna see Urahara and proabably what's left from the Hollows (Grimmjow Grimmjow Grimmjow \o/)

Agreed, it couldn't be the Zero squad...it's too soon
On another note, I hope Kubo does reveal Urahara's and Yoruichi's Bankai in this arc...

Yeah! Crazy to see Urahara's bankai. I bet it is very pretty, even prettier than Senbonzakura.
And not even Yoruichi's shikai has been shown, right? If she's powerful as she is barehanded only or with a sealed sword, think about what this woman's bankai can do? .O.
But not only theirs, I wish to see Rukia's as well (I REALLY hope she's stil alive). Remember that crazy shikai - Her bankai might be very very beautiful too. I hope Kubo gives her "a place to shine" in this arc u-u Too much potential wasted.

They answered when the Quincy extermination occurred, but I still have a looming question as to why they would let one family live and pass on their techniques for a thousand years. It doesn't make sense.
I concur that the explosion is most likely Ichigo, but I hope it's not. That would squander the awesomeness of this and the last few chapters by adding some BS reason for him escaping his prison.
On another note, I hope Kubo does reveal Urahara's and Yoruichi's Bankai in this arc...
Since this is the last story arc, he almost can't ignore it any longer. We should also get to see bankai of Shinji, et al., as well as Kyouraku and Ukitake. Perhaps even Isshin...

I agree with you totally, he made Yamamoto waste all his time with a fake, then this anticlimatic situation occurs.... This poorly executed, as I said before once this series is finished I would never pick up a Kubo title again. He's just to poor of a writer and I'm surprised how long he lasted.

^ I don't get you people. It was bad that Yamamoto fought a fake. But if he had fought the real thing, you'd say it was too fast or also predictable. If Ichigo doesn't appear, Kubo's forgetting the main character, if Ichigo does appear, it's protagonism.
Nothing Kubo does is good enough for you D;
So tell how would be a good plot and flow of events?
Edit:
Also, if you aren't enjoying that much, why bother reading?
The pleasure of being a hater?

To VaahS- I never complained that Yamamoto fought a fake. We all have prior knowledge that he will lose to the real thing. And he did. He should because the plot dictate that way.
However, the manner in which he lose is all that matter. It would have been lovely if he reveals all those bankai to the boss and put up a fight. A fight between 2 elites, anything can happen. And in Yamamoto's case, it just bad luck. And so the boss win. I would accept that story line. Yamamoto is an important character and yet thus far he portrayed like an idiot.
He killed the one that killed the 6th captain like that was nothing. He killed the one that defeated Kenpachi like he was nothing. Thus making the 6th captain's death meaningless, so very very meaningless.
Also, I don't understand what are you on about Ichigo. I think there is no perfect storyline and such. As least if it is entertaining, we are willing to forgive stuffs. For example, Yamamoto's death was stupid. However, the manner in which Kubo draw his death scene was awesome. And so I overlook other stuffs. When Ichigo absent for like I don't know how long, but those fights between those vice captains and Arrancar was boring as hell. Kubo could very well have some of those fights offscreen or something. Show only the good stuffs.
As for why I am in particular reading. I usually give one of my favorite series on hold and read them after like 5-10 chapter like berserk, gantz, etc. I read the rest while I passed my time with the exception of One Piece and Fairy Tail (very neutral on the Punk Hazard stuff). Naruto and Bleach, I saw their golden time. I knew both respective author can told a good story. I am still waiting for them to shine again. Kubo did step up big time since the last two arc. Naruto, I was so excited at the beginning of the war. I am rather unsure about my feelings.

If you don't understand the problems of what is going here than you need to start reading other mangas, comics, or whatever to see how poorly this is being down. For one the fight with the fake was extremely onesided to the point that an obvious loss by Yamamoto was coming up. Basically it was like throwing in Azien again without it being him. Or better yet more like the fight that Yammi was shown in dropping from being #10 to 0. Personally I didn't really care if Ichigo appeared or not. If he didn't then that meant SS is able to clean it's own mess. If he did then the whole onesided mess wouldn't be, things would most likely even out. So yeah, Kubo doesn't do anything that's good enough to me or many other fans that have seen this start from the very beginning.
A good plot and flow of events leave your readers guessing, caught in suspense. A good writer wouldn't have a majority of them already know whats going to happen then do it anyway. Plus they would not drag out a plot for years, like the Azien one, it becomes uninteresting and tedious to read.
Why do I and so many others read it we've been so dissatisfied and disappointed? Well for one when you've been invested in it for so long you'd like to see it end for closure. If I and many others hate it along the way then that's our problem. If you're fond of the comments why read them yourself? Pleasure of pointing out some hates how a story turned out to be?
@ movingstone, they did have moments when they shined but between Kishimoto and Kubo, I think the former managed to make sporadic comebacks in his series over Kubo. The war in Naruto started of pretty interesting over this Quincy war. It even had a better handling of the side characters during it as opposed to this one. And it carried itself as well as the war in OP, Bleach isn't showing any of that. The last arc in Bleach was handled pretty well and got good feedback on it's pacing and flow. But now it's looking like Hueco Mundo all over again.

I just got to say this. I hated the the last story arc. It was even more predictable than this one. The only good thing about it was that it was very well paced, and ended quickly.
Sarcasm just doesn't work over the internet.
