This year's 28th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Naoshi Komi's Nisekoi - False Love manga is entering the story's "climax" in the next issue, which Shueisha will publish on June 20. The chapter will feature a center color page. (Note: While in Japanese, the word "climax" written in the phonetic katakana alphabet often refers to the final chapter of a manga, the word used in this instance is kakyō, the Japanese word for "climax").

The manga is a romantic comedy that follows the story of high-schooler and yakuza family member Raku Ichijo, who is forced into a fake relationship with Chitoge Kirisaki, the daughter of a rival gang's boss, and they must pretend to be in love so as to prevent their rival families from fighting. While acting out their romance, Raku realizes that Chitoge has a mysterious key from her past, which she can't remember, and he has a pendant that can only be unlocked by his childhood sweetheart. To complicate matters, two more girls with keys also appear.

Komi drew the original "Nisekoi" one-shot manga in Shueisha's Jump Next! magazine in early 2011, and turned it into a manga series in November of the same year. Shueisha shipped the manga's 23rd compiled book volume on June 3. Viz Media's English version of Weekly Shonen Jump is serializing chapters of the manga in English, and the company also published the manga's 15th compiled volume in print on May 3.

Was getting way to dragged on, with minimal story in between loooong "fillerish" arcs. This past arc has had more stuff in it than the last 50-80 chapters in terms of story progression.

Lol I dropped it the second the third girl with a key appeared. 3/10 wouldn't recommend

Stopped reading around chapter 60. Nothing good about this one. Many wished for the One Shot to have a proper serialization and... we got what we wished for and it was lacking sadly.

So my words are "FINALLY"!

Good to see I'm not the only one who is also annoyed with this manga. I would give it a 1/10 that shows how much I'm angry with it. >:-(

Personally think this could've ended within 100 chapters. It mostly just been beating around the bush the whole time. Just give me my Harem or Open Ending already.
