I was checkin out the releases and i noticed yesterday (sept. 6th) a chapter of this manga called alive was scanlated by dynasty scans. but then i remembered a while ago i downloaded this other manga called alive scanlated by omanga and snoopycool.... how does that work? o.O isnt the named copywrited??

Not sure... but in fact there are many series that I've seen over the years that have the same title... maybe someone else can shed some light on this.

You are talking about Alive! by TAKAHASHI Tsutomu which was adapted into movie. That onehas a exclaimation point. But there are a lot of series with the same name Japan, Netsu Shisen, there are titles that are similar Minori no Hibi and Midori no HIbi.I guess to the japanese content is more important than titles.

The ALIVE that Dynasty's doing has a lot more volumes than Alive! Although...both deal with death more than life...(Not exactly my cup of tea) Even though I help scanlate this for Dynasty, it isn't exactly the best project I've worked on...
As for copyrights, we people in America have too many~
