I'm a graphic designer and i use illustrator and photoshop alot
i've saved up money and am ready to purchase a tablet pc that i feel would be perfect for me
although i have narrowed the list through out my research i am now stuck between two options
cintiq 15x (around 400 refurbished)

i am not sure if the cintiq has a usb port or even how it works
hp touchsmart (around $600 refurbished)

now once you see the hp touchsmart you might be sold, but what i read was that the cintiq is more touchsensitive than any other tablet pc, so this is where the tough part in deciding comes in.
keep in mind i already have a labtop- so im not concerned about using the internet or writing papers
why because i am the president of the student council of course

Wehay! Fellow graphics designer.
Just purely out of opinion. I would not go with the hp touchsmart. I'm not a big fan of touch screens that use your hands. The pen seems to be far more precise than a fingers touch.
Lots of things like small amounts of dirt from others hands and whatnot acumilating, it just doesn't apeal to me...
From the way you posted this it, looks like you have already made your decision. You just wan't people to confirm it?

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

lol hello fellow GD
hm.. i see your point, but you can also buy a pen for the hp touchsmart.
um to be honest i am not sure, i think ok i will buy the cintiq but than i change my mind and think well the touchsmart can do so much more, i wont even need a tv if i got a touch smart,
back and forth back and forth, its between lust (features on touchsmart) and love (drawing with a cintiq)
heh... i didn't post that earlier but that is the truth, anyway ignore what i think-

🤣 Well if the pen on the itouch is near as good. Then its not a terrible idea to go for the touch, but it might not be as good for your work. The cintiq one looks very work orientated so its a safe bet from the look and the itouch sounds like a wild card, might be as good might not be as good...But the itouch is high teck stuff, so i'll be suprised if it doesn't deliver.
Tough choice. Kinda depends on what you wan't. Shinny shine or not so shinny but good.
