I think it would be a lot easier to be able to search for series that are still ongoing (so "completely scanlated" wouldn't work here) or with an ongoing translation that is still being updated without getting all the results of series that are the first chapter only that was released like 3 years ago that you get when searching "series with at least one release". With novels in particular this is really frustrating to have to sift through.

I can see how it would be useful. I was hospitalized for about two months and had been up to date on my manga reading. (the hospital had wifi but good luck loading any images) by the time I got out I was hoping to be able to search via everything released within x days. or x months.

Mind you, MOST manga apps (mangarock, mangastorm) can do that to some extent. Or, at least show what you've NOT YET READ in your reading list. It just won't sort un-tagged manga titles...

This would be super useful.
Obviously it'd be best if the user had more options in terms of searching, but... If it wouldn't be customizable by days or months, I think at least having an option like "series that have been updated within the past 6 months" would be acceptable and would work well enough, considering it might be easier for the devs to implement.
