There are only 3 chapters in volume 1. (3.5 chapters if you include the mini-story).

According to mangaupdates they have released 8 chapters for volume 1.

Basically, Janimes have been translating a certain batch of pages per day, instead of a whole chapter. And someone at mangaupdates has mistook them for 'chapters'.

Sort it out.

If you look at JanimeS' group info page, it says that they release in "updates" and not the usual chapters. They have ALWAYS done this. Our site has always reflected their "updates" and not chapters. No way are we admins changing 1300+ release entries to reflect REAL chapters. (If you don't know what I mean, note that JanimeS started back in 2003 and that they usually have 1 update per day...)

And if you complain that the weird numbering system is messing up your lists, I don't care. (If you have no clue what I'm talking about, then don't worry about it~ =P)

I mean, don't worry JanimeS. We can hold ourselfs for a couple of days so you can finish scanlate the rest of the chapter, it's no rush getting those 14.5 pages already scanlated.

Well, if anything their frequent updates show that they're active at least.

I just think it's unfair to the Snowkiss scanlation team, because the database makes it out like Janimes have churned out way more chapters than them, where in fact Snowkiss have actually done a bit more than them. People who don't know may judge a group with the number of chapter releases.

This is not a critiscm to Janimes, and their system is definitely not retarded. Both groups are doing an equally great job with their releases, both have taken their time and effort. I just think it's a shame that the database is misleading, by making Snowkiss look like the 'smaller' group.

But I understand the admins position, because I sure as hell can't be bothered changing all those entries. I just wanted you guys to be more aware of it, and maybe do something about it in the future.

rediculous....why would it makes snow kiss looks like a smaller group? o_O...for the fact that snow kiss had started this project out before janimes, and still continuing, would point out to everyone that neither janimes release lower quality (with faster speed) or superior isn't a highly important project to snow kiss........anyhoo, it doesn't make snow kiss looks "smaller" 🤨
