I went to the movies with my four year older brother one time and was paying for the tickets because I owed him money. The guy in the window looks at my brother and goes "Well, you've got yourself a suger Mama there don't you?" (and then proceeded to go on about it).
My brother's angry expression as he said "She's my Sister." was priceless.

My nephew's grandmother thought I was his girlfriend. I may be almost twice his age, but he's 6'3 while I'm 5'0.
(This grandmother is not a blood relation, while my nephew definitely is.)

Only once. My friend was going to his friend (whom I'm not acquainted with)'s wedding party and I decided to tag along for the sake of having a free meal. :-D
When his friend saw us, she automatically said, "Oh so this is your girlfriend..!". I just smiled at her since I can't exactly tell her why I was there :-)
The opposite happened to me once, the man from the grocery store thought that my ex-husband was my brother. This mistake made me laugh at no end but my ex-husband wasn't amused. 😀

I went to the movies with my older sister, I was paying for the tickets, and the receptionist asked me if I was going in with my girlfriend. I fell absolutely still when she said that. My sister laughed it off, but it made me realized just how pathetic I am.

YES. twitch
I'm very close with one of my guy friends -- we've known each other since we were eleven. Every single person I've met thinks I'm going out with him. Always, whenever we go out. It used to be funny.. but now it's actually to the point where it's driving me crazy. Especially because all of my friends (and family members, and strangers, and TEACHERS... XD) who know us always say affectionately, "Aww, you two bicker like an old married couple."
Yeah. I've heard that line so many times.
And so I'm digressing a bit from the topic, but I'm very bitter about it. x__x;

yeah XD
there's this guy I don't really like, but don't really hate either;
and we were visiting a sick friend, and we happened to take the same bus home.
so suddenly we were talking about eye colour, and my mom always says that I have ugly eyes, but the guy said he liked my eyes, and he has pretty cool eyes too, so i said I liked his too.
after, we heard that the grandpa of that sick friend sat behind us and thought we were a couple XD
also, now, my classmate and I are kind of close, and people constantly think we're a couple, but, no thank you.he's too young for me :')

Yeah...Like with about 5 different guys?
They're only friends and we're not interested in each other.
Kind of funny that I've never dated before though..

Quite the opposite. We have been mistaken to be siblings in more than one occasion, instead. Similar features, I guess.
Yeah! D8<
My best guy friend and I were just walking and talking, and what?! These girls come up and say "Are you guys dating?". Can't two people walk and talk without "dating"? >:'D

I have very bad luck when I go out...
I'm 17 years old but I can't walk around with my mother since we get confused for husband and wife.
When I walk with my sister people think she is my daughter.
I had on more then one occasion toddlers, call ma "Papa" ," Daddy" and the sorts. And walking with my cousin makes people mistake us as a couple.
So yeah, going outside with my family is a pain in the ass...
