I noticed that there used to be the "harem intrigue" tag in this site but now there is no more.
Why was it cancelled?
It was useful for works like "Oooku" by Fumi Yoshinaga and "The queen" by TUTU that fit this description perfectly.

i cant say for sure, but i think that tag may have been merged into the tag "Palace/Court Intrigue/s"? i remember the "harem intrigue" tag being wrongly added to some modern day ecchi harem series that had nothing to do with imperial harem intrigue and neither were they set in ancient chinese court nor any other kind of imperial harem of other countries. the fact that the tag had the word "harem" in it confused some people i guess, while "Palace/Court Intrigue/s" tag is more clear.

There were really people who didn’t pick up that “harem intrigue” meant “intrigues set in a imperial harem”! 😳
Now I understood why it was cancelled and I agree with merging this tag with the “palace/court intrigue/s” one.
