Well...that was a pretty decent chapter. I definately did like it for sure. Who would have ever thought Luffy and Buggy would end up fighting side by side. Too awesome. Plus I love the colored page for this chap too simply due to the diff art style that was used. Oh yeah...Hancock mistaking what Luffy said...too funny but somehow I like it even more that she's falling for Luffy.

Best chapter ever!

Everything about it is great! From some new and interesting characters to a certain pirate from the Blue East (who finally returns after 6 long years).

That, and the cover itself, was outstanding.

Sad thing is, everyone has to wait for two weeks until 527 comes out, but it'll be worth it. 😀

I loved it. I am glad Buggy has made his big return, since he is my favorite One Piece villian. His fight with Luffy was just brilliant. I bet those two will be able to pull off some big time damage by working together, hopefully they can at least get along throught this entire arc, since Luffy does need some allies until the Straw Hats are reunited. And it seems like Hancock won't be joining into the action any more than she already has.

I wonder if Luffy with bump into Crocodile during this. And if he will decide to assist Luffy in anyway. He did stay behind when the other Baroque members broke free because he felt he should just stay in there.

Also, did Crocodile get transferred to this prison or was he always in it? Because that means the other Baroque members were with him and they somehow managed to escape, and it is supposed to be very hard to get out of there.

Meeting Crocodile would be really interesting, but I'm also hoping for an encounter with Jimbei. Knowing Oda, these two expected encounters won't be the ones we see. Instead they will encounter someone we've barely heard of 200 chapters ago or something and it will be great.

Well if it is something you won't expect then maybe all the other Straw Hats will appear. That'd be comepltely unexpected since they wouldn't even know that Luffy has gone there. It'd be pretty stupid if that did happen though... But it'd still be amazing if it did, since Oda certainly does know how to make a comic with twist and never having a moment of dullness.

Like I said in an earlier thread. So far there is only one known escapee from Impel Down, Mr 2. Bon Clay. Speaking of which what happened after him after he escaped? Maybe he's on the same island as Sanji. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I don't think Crocodile or Mr. 2 were always imprisoned at Impel Down. Take a look at these three chapter covers/side chapters:
ch 396
ch 402
ch 403

396 and 402 shows that Crocodile and company imprisoned at a Marine detention facility and Crodile, Mr. 1, Mr. 2, and Mr. 3 later trasferred to Impel down after most of the rest escaped. I can see the guys on Sanji's island going to Impel down on Mr. 2's behalf, but Mr. 2 doesn't seem to be on that island.

Jump won't be publishing next week since it's the week that Christmas will fall on. But I understand how you feel. I guess I'll have to catch up with the One Piece anime while I'm waiting for the next two weeks to pass.

Anyway, this chapter was pretty good. I'm glad that Buggy's back, because he actually has one of the best Devil Fruit powers. The only reason why he was beaten was because Luffy took a guess at how to defeat him. And he would look cooler without his hat IMO.

But I hate how those pirates on page 18 were speaking bullshit and were trying to trick Luffy into freeing them. "Why, the two of us meeting another in this vast world...don't you think that this is fate?" Rot in there, ya bastard! 😛 But it probably would've worked had Buggy not have come by.

And is it just me, or did that Den-Den Mushi on page 14 have a mustache? 😲
