Is 'Coda' really shounen-ai? I have read the last translated chapter (10) and it doesn't look like it will go to the "shounen-ai" path, it really only looks like a comedy + gender bender manga for me.

So, if someone have read the raws, can you please tell me if something happens between those two? Can I really expect for at least a kiss? Confession? Or the update to 'shounen ai' genre is only someone seeing too much in their bromance? For me, it takes more than a little blushing while talking to be tagged as shounen-ai.

I'm pretty sure it isn't shounen-ai. It was published in a shoujo magazine, so it's unlikely to have anything other than blink-and-you-miss-it subtext. You could ask the scanlators - just to be extra certain.

Thank you very much. When I posted it, someone edited the genres and included "shounen-ai", so I was kinda lost thinking if it really was (because it would lovely if it was too, I love both of them, but I can clearly see they aren't a couple). Anyway, I will also try asking the scanlators!
