I don't see Final Fantasy characters making it as Square Enix doesn't develop much for Nintendo anymore (and Solid Snake was only in Brawl because his creator was enthusiastic).

Another Sonic character would be nice, though I agree that Nintendo should turn to their own characters first.

Personally I'd love to see more Fire Emblem characters. Maybe a mage or something instead of just main lords, or perhaps even one of the villains.

Technically snake did debut on the NES though. def not any Final fantasy, they've already got dissidia coming out.

way of fighting might not be really fitting for

I don't understand why you've listed several characters who are in fact, already in Super Smash Brothers. By the way, I'd like to see Isaac and/or Felix, from the Golden Sun series, appear in Super Smash Bros. as a playable character. I also wouldn't mind seeing 8-bit megaman. I'd also like to see a Ganondorf with his own unique moveset, and I wouldn't mind seeing the Skull Kid appear as well (with or without Majora's Mask attatched).
I think if Shadow should appear, it should be as a reskin of Sonic.
