I'm looking for manga like Shinigamihime no Saikon where something happens to the female character, but she took it in strides. I mean she doesn't panic, but accept her situation. Anyway, I'm looking for manga that has a similar character. Also it shout have romance/romantic subplot.

have not read saikon but from your explanation i recommend

Chang Ge Xing-she is a very strong main character and knows how to take care of herself, and even though her whole family got murdered she did not freak out and instead started thinking of a way to get them back for what they did. not sure about romance though, its kinda hinting it but not sure at this point

Akagami no Shirayukihime -nothing really bad happens to her but she is definitely that kind of girl, and this one is definitely a romance and a very adorable one at that
