After reading this whole board i think you guys are making the whole clone thing more complicated than it actually is.
First of i really think there are only 2 sakuras not 3. When R_Syaoran goes to the Clow Country when he was seven he met Sakura and the real King and Queen of Clow , that is the R_Sakura. He spent about 7-8 years with her and then he asks yuuko to turn back time back to when he was seven again.
when time turned back my theory is that Fei Wong captured both R_Syaoran & R_Sakura. He makes a clone for each kid (body clone of Syaoran & Body and Soul Clone of Sakura.) I think he then creates an alternate reality of Clow Country but alters it so that the King is similar to Clow Reed and Fujitaka (The original king of Clow) becomes the adoptive father of Syaoran. He then places C_Sakura into this reality, still as the princess of Clow and C_Syaoran as a kid on the streets founded by Fujitaka.
Fei Wong lets time run its course and when Sakura is at the ruins and the scene from Vol 1 occurs, he DOES NOT clone C_Sakura again, as there would not have been any time to do this. Her body and soul join the powers of the ruins and the rest is history.
So my conclusion is that when C_Sakura died she was talking about the soul of R_Sakura who was waiting for R_Syaoran. I think that the R_Sakura might also be waiting within Dreams like when the soul of C_Sakura is in the world of dreams earlier on.
Right now I am wondering what the connection between Watunuki and R_Syaoran is. It would be so cool if they were brothers.
I really wish that we get to actually see CCS Sakura and Syaoran in the end, maybe they'll have the last feather or something o__O

I think I'm finally starting to understand the storyline! 😀
But I still want to know know what the connections is between Watanuki and Syaoran, I mean the them being brothers theory is plausible but still they don't look anything alike 🤣

With chapter 200 released:
We see that he wished to go back in time to save Sakura from the curse caste by Fei Wong, and then when he thinks that he can save her, both are captured by Fei Wong and cloned... well that's just me thinking

Chapter 201 explains that
actually Watanuki was created to replace him (i think replace him in Japan) for all persons that Syaoran meet as well his fathers

Sakura is a clone done by Fai Wong Reed. I THINK the original Sakura died.....so the Sakura from vol. 1 is n fact the clone but Sayorans also a colone! and you should read all 204 chapters in order, you MIGHT understand it then.....

The first sakura didn't exactly die, it's something like her soul is alive and that soul is the sakura feathers, while the clone is just a body. Still I'm not sure by myself, too much stuff is confusing :haha:
The last couple volumes explains pretty much all.

So if Yuuko turned back time by R_Syaoran's request, how did the king of Clow become a completely different person? How did Fujitaka become an archeologist instead of the king? Normally things would have only reverted to the way they were 7 years in the past, which means Fujitaka would still be the king.

I have two theories..
-
FWR created an alternate version of Clow country where C!Sakura and C!Syaoran were living. In other words he styled the country and inhabitants to his liking.
The real Clow country would be the Clow country where R!Syaoran and Co are currently (with its time frozen). -
R!Syaoran explained that with the time turned back the fate of all people changed as well (for example Fay having a twin brother or the destruction of Kuroganes Home country). That explains why the king became a different person.
I think 2. is the most likely reason.

Yea I think 2 is a good theory too 😃 Sometimes I think author confuses herself with the storyline...

As of c210, in my opinion is this manga FAILs!
Clamp has killed, what in my eyes was the original and real protagonist, leaving behind what also in my eyes was the fake, yeah clamp left behind "the real character, but the fake protagonist"
Where did the damn statement "everyone will have a happy ending except one" go? So far one Sakura has been killed, now Syaoran was, can someone tell me how can they have a freaggin happy end now? Or regardless of being protagonists, both of them, just for the fact of being clones and having their real counterparts poping out make them "discardable"?
I don't care what some people might say, about how Real Syaoran has the memories and stuff from watching through the clone's eye, the fact, and the real one said it himself in the Tokyo arc, he wasn't controlling the clone, it was the clone the one fighting for Sakura and taking the desicions, biased wih Fei Wong's orders or course, but as the real Syaoran said, it was the clone's own heart, making him a character by itself, so did, the clone sakura.
But seems like all the last paragraph is only a delusion of mine. Bah <_<
i hereby officially declare Tsubasa Chronicles suck! >:-(

I had a feeling he was going to die when the clone sakura died...but the last chapter was still sad...I don't know how CLAMP is going is give all but one a happy ending now...Maybe CLAMP thinks being dead together in another world is equivalent to being happy? 🤢 This is starting to remind me of X...but I will stick with this manga til the end to see how it all plays out...And Fei Wong better die a slow and horrible death 😀 and I don't want to see 'he's a villain but had his reason for killing hundreds of people' act 😐

What do you expect for a tragedy genre manga?
Happy Ending!? Don't think so but we are talking CLAMP here and they have some "wow'd ideas" that surprise us on and on
I say, I still like this manga ^^

I agree with you. How could they kill off the true main characters.
But still EricGN is right. You can't expect a happy ending from a
manga that is supposed to be a tragedy. Couldn't be helped they were the clones after all...
Maybe C!Syaoran's and C!Sakura's soul will appear at the end
in front of the others saying "Good bye...we are going to live together
in peace" or something like that^^
Btw I think in the next chapter we will see the tube scene that we saw at chapter 1. But it didn't look like Syaoran managed to save Sakura from what we know. Another tragedy? This time for the real ones?
That would be messed up even for a tragedy.

It's not exactly than I was expecting a happy ending, it was clamp themselves the ones that 'promised' a "happy ending for all but one". I read that statement somewhere, don't ask me where cause don't remember, but it was quoted by someone in this same thread.
And about the clones being "happy in the afterlife", it was actually myself writing about how much failure would that represent some pages back in this same thread, and if that is what clamp is trying to pull here, the only thing i can do is 🙄 FAIL!!
I still have a vague hope about the clones being alive somewhere, after all, this manga has pulled soooo much nonsense so far that making up an argument to bring them back would be a piece of cake. I hope that delusion of mine can come true.

Now I don't know about CLAMP's promises but all I can say about that is having promises about the manga's storyline is REALLY Spoiling the Epic Plot. As of you say that CLAMP's promise of a happy ending, then will say this to them:
To CLAMP:
"Oh crap! darn you CLAMP, what with you spoiling the fun 😲 "
Well moving that aside,CLAMP surprise us with a shocking chapter, hopefully this won't be the last shocking chapter in TC. God, this series is getting near to its end
EDIT:
Is this what you've heard Lower?
Tsubasa's corner:
As they said yesterday, Ashura-ou will wake up.
Then. They already talked about it previously, but they said "Tsubasa will end with a happy ending."
Then they added "Except for one certain person, it will be a happy end".
Who could that be?...Ass chin... ahem... Fei Wang, probably? It's not limited to the main characters only... right? (sweat)
But, first of all is a happy ending. How many people are relieved. Wait a bit.
Ohkawa-san said "CLAMP never drew works without a happy ending", so this means that in any way you look at it, it's a happy ending!! I mean. The happy endings she's talking about, they're not always what the readers expected/hoped to happen. No, maybe not.
Aaah. I'm full of anxiety... Give to XXXHOLiC a happy ending too.
Ah yeah! From the many conversations they did, I got that XXXHOLiC will end after Tsubasa's ending.

Yeah, proabably that's the one i read sometime before. Indeed, i forgot the part about "clamp's happy end is not the same as readers' happy end".
And once again i repeat my words: Tsubasa Chronicles FAIL!
