Didn't we have this discussion already?
Anyways, dunno, probably not completely because I see no reason to.
I'm reading far less than I used to, but that's mainly due to lack of time.
I still like manga and I don't see a reason to ever stop.
I mean, why would anyone? It's a pretty harmless hobby.

I'm not as avid of a reader than before, but I don't ever see myself stopping completely.

i dont think i'll ever quit
im the kind of person who would never grow out of something they enjoy
besides, with demographics like seinen and josie i dont see a reason why i would want to stop reading manga in the future

I don't see why to quit, I enjoy it and it takes basically no time of my life, something like 1-4 hours on a normal week. I would have to be a quite busy person to not have time to read it.

As with any other reading I do (books, (novels, novellas, etc) articles, comics, etc) I do not see why I would stop. It is a passion of mine to read, either for knowledge or for enjoyment, or simply to kill time. I enjoy reading, plain and simple. The medium doesn't especially matter as long as it's done well (in my opinion) so I don't see why I would stop reading manga. Unless it stopped being drawn and written or translated, then eventually I'd run out of manga I could read eventually and I'd have no choice but to stop.

I doubt it. I know for a fact I won't stop reading at least until my favorites (including Berserk, so its going to be a looonnnggg time) are finished. But, as many others have said, my reading will probably slow down. It's already slowed down a bit - I have been reading manga for 8 years, after all, and after awhile even the new things start to seem the same. Plus, my life is busier then it used to be. Still, I don't see myself ever stopping completely. New, interesting manga are coming out all the time, and my favorite series never fail to bring enjoyment after all.

I think we have had this topic before but I haven't been able to find it.

Anyways, I do see myself quitting manga in the future. Mostly because I've kind of lost my passion for it. In the past, I couldn't imagine going a couple of days without reading it, but lately I've gone a couple of weeks without reading. It's not the amount of time it takes up, because I have plenty of free time on my hands. It's just been harder to find series that really interest me. Like I've been wanting to read things that are more realistic and relatable to me, but the majority of manga wasn't written for this purpose. Also, I've gotten tired of reading 20 average, completely cliche manga before I can find one really amazing, outstanding manga.

To be fair, even a harmless hobby can become an obsession.

I don't think I'd abandon reading manga any more than I'd abandon reading books. I may go through phases where I read a lot or don't read at all, but it's not like I've ever stopped reading. Can't say it's a "passion", but doesn't really mean I'll abandon it.

there will always be a little pause sometimes but I would probably get back to reading manga again.
Just like now, I'm confused as to what to read because it's getting boring and I'm just wandering about the MU forum to kill time.

NO. A definite no. I have been reading manga for 8 years now, and I have no intention of quitting, not now or never. I'm one of those hard-core otaku's who's whole life revolves around manga and anime bigrazz
