No no, sorry for the confusion, just if you could control one or the other which would you choose. I'm sure a mangaka controls all or most characters since its their story, But YOU AS A READER; who's actions would you control?

well i absolutely love something like

tokyo marble chocolate

the movie was far more entertaining.(i heard it won some awards too)
it is divided into 2 half hour films that tell the course of events first from girl's POV then from boy's pov

there was some manga i read eensy weensy monster which was same

so i honestly think things like this appeal to a larger audience.... narration from one person's pov all the while gets monotonous 🤢

If there are two characters who are important for the story(male&female), which one would you control. Like having a gamepad in your hand and influencing the story by controling the character??

well, I'd chose the stupider one^^ (means if the boy doesn't understand anything I'd chose him, if the girl was dense I'd control her) and try to make things go as easy as possible + try to get a happy end as fast as possible, so the story would either become boring or tragic (if I fail)...

good thing that I don't have the ability to control a character 🤣
