I'm looking for manga where the protagonist and their love interest are passionately in love with each other. However, something gets in their way before they can be together.

An example is Emma, shes a maid and hes part of the upper class, but due to the depths of their feelings they cross boundaries. There's parts in the manga where they try to deny their feelings because they know they shouldn't be together. A bad guy even gets in their way using despicable means, but the end is a happy one.

To put it plainly, I want passion. The characters' love should burn intensely for one another.

hmm... maybe Hakuji? There are complications in their love... and it's slightly dark, but you get this non-superficial feeling from both of them. It's crazy.

Switch (MOCHIZUKI Karin) also has this unfortunate boundary/obstacle that both sides have to cross. Don't be put off with the "student-teacher" tag... it's more realistic than the usual shoujo genre. There are implications... things left to your imagination.

I'm not sure if you're interested in this story, but Seisei Suruhodo, Aishiteru has an obstacle that the two must face... 😲 I've been itching for the next chapter!!
