I've started reading the manga and am currently on V3. Now I get it that Souchiro is the main character but I don't really like him that much. I find Masataka to be a much better character and I was wondering how much face time he receives in the entire series.

Masataka is a pretty big character in the later volumes. Later volumes make very little sense though. If you can understand them you're a lot smarter than me. If you read this i suggest just reading it for the tits.
