And I want to say that the person with the Rasengan at the end is Kakashi, but IIRC he didn't go with Gaara's squad...

Judging from the last few pages, I think it's either Jiraya or Minato. Wouldn't it be just like the mangaka to do that?

I think it is Naruto... but would he have gotten there so quickly? Unless you know, it's the usual 'skip'. I would LOVE if it were Jiraiya or Minato though. Dream come true.
The clam guy definitely made me chuckle. That's exactly how my mom is when it comes to cleaning up invisible stains and crumbs...

It can't be Jiraya - a few chps ago, Kabuto said that his body was in the depth of the oceans and couldn't be found - or Minato - his soul is in the belly of the death god - so it's probably Naruto.

I think it'll be Naruto. Looking at the hand its not completely drawn like a normal hand but more like the one Naruto has been using as of late. Also I think Gaara wondering who the person is, is only because he looks so different than from when Gaara last saw him.

I know, right?! All I can say is, the Japanese fans must've thought Naruto trying to stop a war all by himself was just as asinine as we do and Kishimoto reconsidered. I am grateful.
I was surprised when Itachi said he wouldn't go to meet Sasuke. In my opinion, Kishimoto has written himself into a corner with Sasuke's sanity. Getting some closure with Itachi is probably one of the only credible ways the manga has of reforming Sasuke. (Naruto kicking his ass can only do so much, realistically.) Kishimoto can't pass up the opportunity of having the brothers meet, can he?
All that time spent wondering what the power Itachi gave to Naruto, and it's gone in just a couple of chapters... Ah well.
The only characters who know rasengan are Naruto and Konohamaru. If it's not one of those two at the end, then it's got to be a Naruto clone. (The hand looked like it had chakra flames around it like Naruto's 9-tails mode, so Naruto himself?)

Meh. I'm sad that the bird got destroyed along with the eye. (well, idk if completely destroyed, but too bad the power's been used.) I guess Naruto will just have to find another card to trump Sasuke.

The hand really look like its Naruto in Kyuubi mode but when he ran out of chakra the clone technique went off and I doubt he was close enough from Gaara to get there that fast.

its fun... how the way they "handled" nagato brings so many possibilities 😛 ... shame nothing will come like we think... at the end.
