Hello!

I need your help finding music
(songs or just melody) in the form of movie OST.
I guess it could be from games as well, as long as it fits
my criteria.

I know there's the music suggestion thread,
but it's very broad and discussion-based...

What I like:
I like quiet music. It doesn't have to be formally classic
(whatever that might mean^^;;; ). I like old style music a lot,
like in Mona Lisa Smile.
If you could recommend me something like that,
I would love you be very grateful. 🙂

If you have any performers/singers in mind,
I'd love to know as well. 😃

Something like Chocolat's OST is also welcomed.
All kinds of violins and piano styled things will hit the spot,
as well.

Hope it's not too much...
Thanks in advance!

With lyrics or is instrumental fine?

I really recommend Emma's OST by Ryou Kunihiko and anything by Yuki Kajiura.

The OST for Lady Snowblood is excellent. Hero has a great soundtrack as well.

Something a bit different, but still excellent, is the sound track for Oh! Brother, Where Art Thou?

As lame an answer as it may be, the Naruto Shippuden OST is really good, along with the latest Bleach one.

Outlaw Star has a few songs that match, Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei, Chaos;Head, and FFX as well.

Don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for but maybe Simoun's OST?
