so 2 engines 2.5-3Kw each shoes. the more Kw the merrier.

look for the continuos torque, not the stall one

After 20+ pages of discussion, what has been accomplished? I've seen a lot of "check out these motors" and "you need X amount of power to use it", but there still doesn't seem to be any plan besides making a forum. Air trek is just a piece of fiction; anything made with current technology will be no better than the lawnmower engine on a shoe.

well... no they will not be gas powered!!! i swear upon Trophaeum Tower it if they end up gas powered its an abomination and i will destroy them!!!

I would think this would be a big impact if ATs are created. I mean I would get one. and ImBZppl I agree with you (and nice DEARS picture looks cuite) hehe. Anyway we need important people to start the project before making this. I haven't even seen a concept yet, or blueprint... so it is far from starting yet.

60/80 mph is kinda fast and if you hit something your good to have broken bones, but I know who can take something like that hit the bboys!

you mean smaller lol bigger motors on AT's is not a good thing 😁
we are gonna need some really small but strong enough gears for upping rider speed)

ill suggest how the rider interface may work 😃

if the rider is slow well the AT's will be slow... its a freaking sport lol

we need help and since im a business/econ major i can be the one that manages the AT's Project Co. lol

i'm an idea's type of person

ideas so far add in an electric generator that can be turned on or off
if its on it will slow down the shoes by a little since a generator requires some extra force to turn it but they will be charged as one rides and since its a generator it can be turned to a motor too so all wheel drive

pressure driven depending on the power of the kick the motor will match it and accelerate you faster...

it seems there are 4-5 gear/speeds in the wheels

shocks on the AT's so that heavy people will not cause them to accidentally accelerate lol

air breaks for the breaks since i don't think springs will work at such speeds... plus air breaks are safer...

wheels should be rubber coated metal not sure which kind of metal light and durable although they will heat up and be a little heavier but it sparks lol plus they will last longer the wheels have to be big like huge big im trying to keep it as true to the anime/manga as possible

hydraulics/springs to make jumps higher in the middle of the shoes

and i just remembered that in the first episode there are some "blueprints" on AT's
those seem possible
