MosesHatch has already got that done. But that is seriously great advice! That would be perfect way to start it out! This is something someone should try if they're about to attempt to make ATs. I'll post this idea on TheAtProject forums.

But rubber might melt because of the extreme heat. Maybe metal?

There are types of rubber that can withstand high heats. Not extreme high, but then again if it's that hot why would you put your foot in it?

Metal wheel would be a massive weight increase that you probably wouldn't want.

Hmmm... Your right... I was just talking about a light metal casing but that would add like 5 more pounds to both feet... Hatch PM me saying that Mazda won't sell him the metal because he's too young or something like that but maybe we can find a strong, heat resistant rubber that'll allow the electricity flow threw the skates and won't have any interruptions

It's been a week kid. I've tried posting again but I can't double post so I got a warning so I can only post 8 times a day now 🤢

ANYWAYS

Moseshatch has built 1 complete pair of ATs and 1 incomplete one due to lack of resources. We're currently trying to find a sponsor that we can trust and etc. People are still interested, but just doesn't post. They just sit back in the side line and watch and hope that everything will work out and wait for the release date. Just join the forums, that'll where every one is now.

to moseshatch- u know if u did want to regenerate power for the battery u could always use the faraday principle within the wheel that way u could ride longer. i made a small car using it and it had basically limitless charge

Moseshatch has made a huge claim, surpassing current mini-motor technology, and has shown nothing to back it up yet. Visit any other forum where people actually know something about small motors, and they'd shoot down the claim as well.

I already have working ATs on my feet right now that let me jump 50 feet straight up and land safely... with infinite batteries and speed... It's easy to make claims. Don't be so eager to believe that it blinds you from common sense.

I know im new here...but i pose a very good point in my opinion. Ive been reading this forum for awhile and i have had the desire to make ATs a reality since i read the manga. Ive taken in everything youve all said so far. Heres my input, since wheels, frames, and boot design isnt the biggest issue, i decided the power supply/motor is.

Motor: Le wheelmotor (powered by Li-Po battery possibly)
****But let me make my point here, the biggest issue seems to be powering the AT itself for a decent amount of time. What if we developed a way to recharge the battery with the kinectic energy produced by skating itself. Somewhat like those flashlights that you shake to turn on, or radios that you crank. However with my idea, on ATs your constantly moving, so your constantly creating energy, thus the battery is always charging. It may sound a little far fetched. But its economical and realistic in my view. 😀

oh...and to add to my post. The front wheel could be the wheel that generates the energy and charges the battery, where the back wheel could contain the motor.

wow....i didnt see project hermes post until now. his only issue a well only seems to be the battery. two 24v motorcycle batteries? jeesh..but he has a solid plan. Hey project hermes if ur reading this, fill me in on ur progress?
